Atila Alvandpour received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Linkoping University in 1995 and 1999,
respectively. From 1999 to 2003, he was a researcher with Circuit Research Lab, Intel Corporation,
where he developed high-performance circuit techniques for advanced microprocessors. In 2003,
he joined the department of Electrical Engineering, Linköping University, as a professor of VLSI
design at division of Electronic Devices. Since 2004, he is the head of the division. His research
interests include various issues in design of integrated circuits and systems in advanced nano-scale
technologies, with a special focus on analog-to-digital converters, on-chip clock generators and
clock synthesizers, efficient wireless front-ends, sensor interface electronics, high-speed signaling techniques,
low-power/high-performance memories and logic, and chip design techniques.
Prof. Alvandpour has published about 100 papers in international journals and conferences, and holds 24 patents.
He is a senior member of IEEE, and he has served on many technical program committees of IEEE and other international
conferences, including the IEEE Solid-State Circuits Conference, ISSCC.
